Remember the first movie, "Batman Begins?" Liam Neeson played Bruce Wayne's martial arts master and eventually took on the persona of Ra's al Ghul. Well, speculation ran high that Ra's al Ghul's League of Shadows will be playing a role and a series of production notes has (basically) confirmed so.
It seems that the "Wrath of the Titans" website might have revealed too much when it said:
"[Liam] Neeson next appears in Peter Berg's actioner 'Battleship,' and he also will be seen in Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated action thriller 'The Dark Knight Rises.'"
Also, numerous reports have sighted Liam Neeson and he has himself confirmed in an interview with ShowbizSpy that he was on set.
"I can tell you nothing about 'Dark Knight Rises', seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn't tell me anything of what it's about. So, I'm being very honest when I say I have no idea what's going to happen."
Miranda Tate is also rumored to be playing the daughter or Ra's al Ghul, Talia al Ghul.
Another spoiler LatinosPost has recently picked up has been that John Blake, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, will be ditching his police badge to don the cape and cowl that has struck fear into so many of Gotham's criminals.
This could mean that Bruce Wayne dies. Either way, the only way to confirm any of this is to actually go out and watch the movie when it opens July 20.
