Gary Neal and Danny Green combined for 13 treys as the San Antonio Spurs took a 2-1 series lead with a 113-77 blowout win over the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Tuesday night at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Fresh from absorbing a 103-84 beating in Miami, the Spurs exacted their revenge against the Heat as they leaned on the hot hands of Neal and Green to blow the game apart in the second half.

Green, who scored 17 points on 5-for-5 shooting from the three-point line in Game 2, continued to hit efficiently from beyond the arc as he finished with a new finals career-high 27 points on 9-for-15 shooting.

Meanwhile, Neal had been terrible offensively in the first two games of the series, but the six-year veteran guard heated up starting in the second quarter and went on to score 24 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the three-point line.

The Spurs' trio of Tim Duncan (12 points and 14 rebounds), Tony Parker (6 points an 8 assists), and Manu Ginobili (7 points and 6 assists) had so-so ballgames, but the production of the Spurs role players was enough to pull off a huge win in their first home game in two weeks.

The Spurs offense was not the only thing remarkable in Game 3. Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, known for his ability to make adjustments in the playoff series, employed all kinds of defensive plays to keep LeBron James out of his comfort zone.

In the end, James finished with only 15 points on an awful 7-for-21 shooting from the field. Dwyane Wade (12 points) and Chris Bosh (12 points and 10 rebounds) delivered subpar numbers, but the zero output of Game 2 hero Mario Chalmers made things tougher for Miami to win the ballgame.

The Heat shot just 40 percent from the field and went to the free-throw line just 10 times. On the other hand, the Spurs shot 49 percent on the floor and dominated the rebounding (52-36) and assists department (29-21). San Antonio also forced Miami to commit 16 turnovers in the blowout win.

The Spurs can move a win closer to getting their fifth NBA crown if they manage to deal the Heat their first back-to-back loss in the playoffs on Thursday night's Game 4 at AT&T center.
