William Levy May Have Had An Affair With Ximena Navarrete In 'La Tempestad': Report

William Levy and Ximena Navarrete, stars of the hit Mexican soap opera "La Tempestad," could be having an affair, according to rumors spread by the website of TV network Univision.

The two actors have a relationship in the soap, which forces them to perform many love scenes together. Now those scenes could be transferred to reality, according to what people close to Levy and Navarrete told the Mexican showbiz newspaper Basta!. Some rumors indicate that during the recording of the program, they show affection that isn't on the script and that they have no discretion while sharing knowing glances.

The Mexican audience was expecting this romance. During the airing of "La Tempestad," many users commented through social networks that kisses, hugs and petting involving Levy and Navarrete were 'too real'.

A few days ago Ximena, a former Miss Universe, affirmed in the Mexican magazine 'Hola!' that her relationship with TV presenter Jaime Augusto Mayol was over. "Jaime Mayol and I broke up a month and a half ago. Now my life is the soap opera and I have no time for anything else," were the actress's words.

The unexpected separation increased the rumors of romance with her co-star William Levy. However, the Cuban actor has two children with actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, with whom he maintains a relationship. Back in 2010, Levy proposed waiting for her at home with a bouquet of roses and a Tiffany ring worth roughly $20,000, to what Gutierrez accepted immediately. Yet, three years have passed and the marriage still hasn't happened.

Meanwhile, Navarrete explained to Hola! the reasons for her separation, which have nothing to do with Levy. "At first, you have the desire that everything is gonna be alright,  and wish to have big communication and see each other as long as possible, but it's hard to be able to meet, because we are both very busy, and the fact that he is in Puerto Rico and I'm in Mexico doesn't help; that is drifting us apart," she said.

Although surely many will be happy if the romance between Captain Fabre and Marina Reverte (their characters in the soap opera) crosses over into real life, the truth is that fans will have to wait a little longer to see if the rumors are true.
