Kobe Bryant, this week, confidently commented that the current U.S. Men's Olympic basketball team, set to compete at the London Olympic Games in two weeks, was not only superior to the 1992 "Dream Team" but could beat them as well since they younger and more eager according to Yahoo Sports.

The comments prompted quick responses from the former 1992 Olympic teammates, Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan, who said Kobe's comments were laughable.

"I absolutely laughed. For him to compare those two teams is not one of the smarter things he ever could have done," Jordan told the Associated Press.

Barkley on the other hand according to ESPN said, "I just started laughing. How old is Kobe Bryant? He's 34? And he's calling us old? At the time, we were only like 28, 29. Michael Jordan and me were the same age. We were both 29. ... Other than Kobe, LeBron (James) and Kevin Durant, I don't think anybody else on that team makes our team."

With each side having their own opinion, Latinos Post launched an online poll in order to get a good grasp of what the fans' take on the argument was.

The online poll* found that out of 2,068 votes, 1,730 or 83.7% of people believe the 1992 Dream Team would beat the 2012 U.S. Men's Basketball Team against 321 votes or 15.5% of people who thought otherwise.

The results may perhaps mean that while Kobe made his confident comments for the 2012 roster, most of the people listening to him were either disagreeing with him or laughing out loud together with Jordan and Barkley.

*Although unscientific, the poll doesn't count repeat votes and the percentage ratios remained constant all throughout the poll.
