When Larry Chen from Los Angeles first noticed bees unusually flying in and out of his window, he decided to look into the matter carefully.
So he searched on Craigslist and found someone who claimed he could remove the bees without harming them, safely, out of the house.
Chen hired the bee specialist, Mike Bee, and then started a five hour process of removing the bees which consisted of first locating the bees and then cutting Chen's wall open to remove some 8 honeycombs fully covered by bees.

To Chen's surprise, the bee hive was at least 6 to 8 months old carrying almost 50,000 bees, according to Bee. Chen reportedly had not noticed much since he spent his time working out.
The bees had entered through ventilation pipes in to the attic apparently and through an opening in the window.
According to ABC, who first reported the story, Chen said, "I'm not really terrified of the bees. ... I got stung once, but I was more curious about how big the hive actually was. I figured it was just a small clump of 1,000 or so,"
After carefully removing the bees by vacuuming them up, Bee said he would return the bees to the city after completing a process called "orientation flight" according to the news company.
Bee was stung 4 times and Chen, once.
