Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan both don't agree with Kobe Bryant's statement that the 2012 U.S. Olympic basketball team could defeat the Dream Team - in fact, all both of them could do was laugh.

Kobe Bryant recently created a stir by calling the 1992 U.S. Olympic 'Dream Team' was old and that the current team would most likely run away with a victory.

Charles Barkley appeared as a guest on the Mike Missanelli Show on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia to discuss the remarks among other things.

During the show he said, "I just started laughing. How old is Kobe Bryant, 36? He's 34? And he's calling us old? At the time, we were only like 28, 29. ... Michael Jordan and me were the same age. We were both 29."

Missanelli then asked if the Dream Team would defeat the current team by double digits (a feat they accomplished in every game in the 1992 Olympics, beating opponents by an average of 40 points).

Barkley said yes they would.

"Oh yeah, that's no disrespect. I ain't got to badmouth them...Their point guards weren't going to beat us. That's a no-brainer."

Barkley then went on to say that only three members of the current 2012 U.S. team would have made the 1992 Dream Team - Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Kevin Durant.

An Associated Press interview with Michael Jordan earlier this week also had the Dream Team member laughing at Kobe's remarks.

"I absolutely laughed," Jordan said.

"I imagine he's trying to say it to legitimize his own Dream Team. But to me it's not even a question what team is better."

The 1992 Dream Team included greats such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley among others. In all 11 Hall of Famers were on the team.
