William Levy revealed that he does not like using stunt doubles during an interview with People en Espanol

The actor said that during the filming of "La Tempestad," he had done all the stunts himself and that the stunt double was not really working throughout production. He also told the magazine the he was doing all the underwater scenes because he prepared himself for it. Levy added that as a child he liked to dive, and as a result, knew how to hold his breath. He also said that he loved to do action scenes because they were fun.

The actor is currently promoting the telenovela and his new commercial for Pepsi.

Levy recently said that his best role was being a father when recently asked what his best film or TV part was by reporters. He added that even though he did not get to see his children all the time, he tries to spend as much time with them as possible.

"La Tempestad" tells the love story of Damian (Levy ) and Marina (Navarrete). Marina is a manager at a hotel who gets fired from her work when she discovers her boss sexually abusing a co-worker and denounces him. At the same time she receives the news that her mother has a serious illness and must move to a new town. When Marina moves she meets Damain and a love story begins between the two of them.

The series was produced by Salvador Mejia and the theme song, which premiered on YouTube two weeks ago, was sung Christina Aguilera and Alejandro Fernandez. Production began in March in Veracruz and later went to the studio. The new series also stars Ximena Navarrete, Ivan Sanchez, Laura Carmine, Jessica Coch, Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, Latin Lover and Luis Manuel Avila. The new telenovela is based on the Colombian series "La Tormenta."

"La Tempestad" premiered in Mexico on May 13 and is now slated to begin in Panama on May 27. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced, but is rumored to happen in the fall.
