At least one forensic audio expert thinks that the 911 dispatcher who spoke with rescued Cleveland kidnapping victim Amanda Berry called her an obscene name during her frantic 911 call for help.

The controversy over Berry's 911 call began over a social media comment which caused authorities to look into whether the dispatcher called her a "f-----g b----" in the last second of his recorded call with Berry, reports WKYC.

Now, an unnamed "forensic audio expert" who spoke with WOIO said he believes the dispatcher did utter those two words at the end of the call.

However, a spokesperson for the city of Cleveland told the station that their experts can't tell what words are said in the last second of the conversation.

The dispatcher, who remains unidentified, is already being investigated over concerns that he handled Berry's call insensitively and becuase he did not stay on the line with Berry until police arrived to rescue her. Berry and two other women managed to escape the home in which they were being held in bondage for 10 years by alleged kidnapper Ariel Castro.

In the call, Berry can be heard pleading for the police.

"I need police. I've been kidnapped. I've been missing for 10 years," Berry says, giving her address. The dispatcher tells her to stay put, and "talk to the police when they get there." The dispatcher adds that they will send a car as soon as they have one which causes Berry to become upset and ask for a car now.

"I told you they (the police) are on the way. Talk to them when they get there," says the dispatcher, possibly sounding agitated.

Berry agrees and hangs up and it is then you can hear what sounds like the curse words coming from the 911 call taker.
