Colombian Women Considered Sexiest in the World; Americans Rank Among Top 5

Colombian women are the sexiest in the world.

According to a recent survey conducted by a travel dating website, women from the country are deemed the sexiest against every other nationality in the world.

MissTravel.com, an online dating site for travellers, recently conducted a survey on its Americans members---both men and women---to find out which nationality they find the sexiest. The survey centers on the site's mission to bring travellers together.

"Recently we decided to conduct a poll amongst our American members to discover which nationalities top your list of the sexiest nationalities on the planet. We weren't surprised that America wasn't the top choice for either sex," MissTravel posted on its blog.

The site conducted the research based on over 44,000 single men and women in the U.S. And after compiling all the responses, the results revealed that men find Colombian women the sexiest in the world. As for women respondents, they found British men to be the most appealing among all nationalities.

"It's like eating bread all your life, and then someone slips you a piece of cake, and then you discover a whole new world of baked goods that you didn't even know existed," said Brandon Wade, founder and CEO of MissTravel.

The results are reflective of how American pop culture has been over the years. Stars like Shakira and Sofia Vergara have been known as some of the sexiest in the entertainment business. British men have also been a favorite, especially in the past two years when One Direction took the world by storm---especially in the U.S.

The study also revealed that 34 percent of men find "body type" to be the most appealing factor in a woman, while 47 percent of women say "accent" is the most attractive quality in a man.

"What attracts a woman to a foreign man is his combination of his character and his other worldly culture. An accent can give a man an air of sophistication that women find endearing," Wade said.

Other countries in the list include (2) Brazil, (3) America, (4) Spain and (5) Russia for being home to the sexiest women, while the sexiest men are from (2) Ireland, (3) Brazil, (4) Sweden and (5) America.
