The "50 Shades of Grey" wheel just keeps on turning. Every week, every day, every minute there are new casting rumors that run rampant across the Internet. Wild speculations, fan polls and mock trailers keep fans satisfied while E. L. James and Universal take their sweet time deciding who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The desperate cries of "50 Shades" fans don't seem to resonate with the hot shots in Hollywood. Typical. Regardless, it's still fun to dream. Top Christian contenders include Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill, but the "Superman: Man of Steel" star is generating some extra buzz in recent fan polls.

Christian Grey is basically Superman, so it would be a seamless transition for Cavill to assume the role. He's got the look, the class and the acting abilities to play the seductive Mr. Grey, but as previously mentioned, he's got some stiff competition. "White Collar" star Bomer is also getting a lot of "50 Shades" attention. He's even featured in three separate fan made trailers, as MStars points out. Watch them all below.

In one of the videos, Bomer stars as Christian alongside Alexandra Daddario, who's a relatively new contender for the role of Anastasia, but is making a splash all the same. She's featured with Bomer in the said trailer and shares a Facebook fan page with Cavill, titled "Henry Cavill & Alexandra Daddario as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele."

Daddario briefly played Bomer's girlfriend on "White Collar," so the two obviously have previous chemistry that would translate well onto the big screen, and Daddario even admitted that Bomer would make a "great" Christian Grey. Fans agree. Now if we could only get James and Universal to agree, we'd be in business, but it doesn't look like that day is coming anytime soon. In the meantime, let us know who you think would make the better Christian and Anastasia couple and enjoy the trailers!
