Things have been busy in Miami, specifically for the Miami Heat after clinching the hard won championship weeks ago.

After the season and the party was over, personnel of the Heat organization including players resumed their hard work to secure the team's victory' streak and future.

Apparently, that hard work has already paid off as Ray Allen will be joining forces with Miami for 2012-2013 season.

Allen paid a visit to South Beach on Thursday of last week and gave Pat Riley, Erik Spoelstra & Co. the opportunity to speak on why a Celtic should join LeBron, Wade and Bosh for half as much as salary offered by Boston.

It is unclear what exactly was said in the meeting, but by Friday evening, news brok that Allen told the Heat he intended to accept the deal and head to Miami.

To the news LeBron James tweeted, "please welcome our newest teammate Ray Allen #wow".

Ray Allen would be signing a 3-year, $9 million deal with Miami and no other explanation other than the desire to win another ring could explain why renounced to Boston's offer.

With Allen, Miami's game would be further solidified in terms of long range shooting.

Another bid to solidify the Heat's game came in form of a surgery.

Dwayne Wade today underwent a 20-minute knee surgery of which he took to Twitter to announce the results.

"2 every1 who have [been] waiting 2 hear...[I am] doing fine after my surgery [this] morning," Wade posted on Twitter. "I'm in [great] hands..thanks 4 all your concern/prayers," the star tweeted.

According to the Miami Herald, Wade had an arthroscopic procedure in order to eliminate swellings and discomfort that obstructed his game during the post-season.

The Miami Heat are not losing any time to get ready to win next season as they continue their recruitment of new players.

On Sunday, Heat officials met with Wizards' Rashard Lewis to persuade him to start the season in Miami.

Lewis has also been contacted by Atlanta and the Knicks requesting his talents and according to the Miami Herald, the Heat are cautiously optimistic Lewis will choose Miami.

After the championship, Miami still continues to enjoy the NBA spotlight and with the signing of Allen and their aggressive recruiting efforts, an Easter conference executive according to SI.com said, "That's not a team they are building down there. That's a juggernaut."
