It's that time. More tracks from Daft Punk's upcoming album, Random Access Memories, are making their way to the public. The album's official release is set for May 21, but after eight years of waiting for new material, fans are just too eager to wait. It's usually impossible to trace a leaked track back to its source, so Daft Punk has no one to blame for the premature release of their new track with Giorgio Moroder, but fans couldn't be happier.

Although the track is not the complete version, a lengthy portion of "Giorgio By Moroder" is now available for our listening pleasure over at Electro Italia. It's exactly as Moroder described the collaboration back in 2012. It's almost like an interview track. Moroder talks about his life work while Daft Punk do what they do best. Although a full version has yet to be heard, the segment gives fans a tantalizing taste of what's to come.

Daft Punk previously released an exclusive interview with Moroder as part of their promotional series, "The Collaborators."

"What the world needs now is not only good dance songs, which I think are out. The world needs something new," Moroder says in the opening line of the interview. He believes Daft Punk's new album will make a splash in the electronic music scene and will once again set the trend as they did in the early 21st Century. In addition to Daft Punk's superb innovation, Moroder also notes his admiration for their meticulous attention to detail.

"Thomas and Guy-Manuel, they are perfectionists. I remember I would try to find a sound on the vocoder and it would take me 20 minutes, maybe an hour," he says. "They told me it took them a week or so to find the sound, and then, I don't know how many days to do the vocals. I think they're going into every little detail. If you don't go into all those details, it's not going to be successful."

Moroder himself is a dance music icon. He talks about his first experience with a synthesizer, his work with Donna Summer and how he had a direct hand in the evolution of mainstream electronic dance music. Check out the entire interview below.

So while we wait the final week and a half for Random Access Memories, feast your ears on the leaked portion of "Giorgio by Moroder."
