A dateless Lindsey Vonn showed up to the Delete Blood Cancer Gala at Cipriani in New York City on Wednesday, May 1 without her beau Tiger Woods.
The Olympic ski champ looked stunning on the red carpet in a blue Derek Lam dress despite the fact that her pro-golfer boyfriend was nowhere in sight. [See photo.]
"He's practicing," the 28-year-old professional skier told E! News.
But that didn't stop Vonn from looking her best. "Hair by Mario Mele and makeup by Mac Cosmetics artist Fatima T for the gala tonight. More info to come!" the blonde beauty tweeted along with a headshot photo.
Not only did Vonn show off her gorgeous gown, but she even posed with the designer, Derek Lam, himself, on the red carpet. "Love this dress," she captioned beneath a photo.
Vonn also flaunted her style and the fact that she is no longer using a knee brace. The Olympic athlete was injured at the Alpine World Championships in Austria earlier this year and underwent surgery days after the accident.
"I'm still in rehab, things are going really well . . . I should start skiing in September and everything's right on track for the Olympics in February," she told E! News. "I just dumped the brace. This is my first trip without the brace, so I'm really excited."
However, according to TMZ, Woods also attended his friend Michael Jordan's recent wedding without Vonn, as well, say inside sources.
