Barcelona will play one of the most important games in its history when it takes on Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions league 2013 semifinals.

Almost nobody expects Blaugrana to come back from the 4-0 deficit it has dug itself into after the first leg. Rival Real Madrid fell 4-1 in its first leg against Borussia Dortmund and only managed a 2-0 victory in its second leg. Madrid needed a 3-0 win to pull off the comeback, but Barcelona's task is even more difficult. The team must put up a 4-0 scoreline to push the matchup to extra time; a 5-0 win would get them through to the final.

"We can't think too much about the first-leg result. After the match, we can evaluate things, but I cannot say which team is the better one," said Munich coach Jupp Heynckes. "Barcelona have played at such a high level for so many years, but Bayern want to prove that the match in Munich wasn't a one-off. It will be tough because Barcelona are capable of doing great things, we know that."

"We believe we can fight back, it's our obligation and we're convinced it's possible," said Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova. "We know that it will be very difficult, but we are Barca and we can never give up on a tie, especially when we have 90 minutes of play at home."

According to The Telegraph, the lineups could be as follows:

Barcelona (Possible, 4-3-3): Valdes; Dani Alves, Pique, Bartra, Adriano; Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta; Rodriguez, Villa, Messi.

Bayern Munich (Possible, 4-2-3-1): Neuer; Lahm, Dante, Boateng, Alaba; Schweinsteiger, Gustavo; Robben, Müller, Ribéry; Mandzukic.

Referee: D Skomina (Slovenia).

Predictions: Barcelona puts up a tremendous performance in front of its fans but falls short; 3-0 Barcelona.
