Countries have continually monitored foreigners and travellers in their country and will willingly deport anyone who post a threat to the nation's safety and health. However, it seems that Saudi Arabia has a different view on national threat.
The mid-eastern and predominantly Muslim country has made headlines just a few weeks ago, after it reportedly deported three men for being "too handsome." According to a report by the Arabic newspaper Elaph, a few delegates from the United Arab Emirates were in attendance at the Jenadrivah Heritage & Culture Festival in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, when religious police officers stormed the area and escorted three men out.
"A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them," reported by Elaph, as translated by Telegraph UK.
Posting threat to women for being irresistibly dapper, the authorities took "urgent measures" by deporting the men off the country. While no names were released to identify the deportees, one name has been making the rounds online as the dashing stud that was handsome enough to be sent home. Omar Borkan Al Gala has instantly become an internet sensation after speculations rose that he is in fact one of the sexy trio.
While yet to be confirmed, Al Gala recently posted an article on his Facebook page with the comment, "This is what written in newspapers in over the world :)" If that wasn't enough, the self-proclaimed fashion photographer, actor and poet also continued posting swoon-worthy photos of him on his social media accounts.
No one can blame him though; millions of women in the whole world are now basking at his manly good looks. The web has also been overflowing with searches about Al Gala's status. "Omar Borkan Al Gala Wife" has peaked in search engine results, grabbing number 1 prompt on Google Instant. As to whether this chiselled hunk is single or married has still yet to be confirmed.
"Likes" to his Facebook account stand at more than 255,000 and he has a Twitter's followers base of more than 3,500 followers in an account that seems to have been created within the last 20 hours. Mr. Omar apparently has a blog that could be viewed by clicking here.
