Daft Punk New Album: Collaborators Give Fans Better Idea Of What To Expect From 'Random Access Memories'

As the May 21, 2013 release of Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories approaches, album details continue to leak to the public much to fans' delight. A full roster of featured collaborations, listed by the tracks on which they're featured, is now available.

The list is strewn with big names that promise to make the Random Access Memories as beautiful as the pop synth duo's previous albums and songs. It will feature vocals from producer and singer Pharrell Williams and Julian Casablancas. Collaborators will also include Animal Collective's Panda Bear (Noah Benjamin Lennox), whose soaring ambient voice will grace the 12^th track, and Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers. Rodgers recently stated that working in the studio with the group felt "unbelievably natural."

Producer Giorgio Moroder, who scored the soundtrack to "Scarface," also had a lending hand in the album's production. Moroder called the album a step forward in electronic music, which is no surprise from Daft Punk. The group revolutionized the genre with their 1997 Homework and 2001 Discovery.

"Daft Punk wanted to do something and do it in a way that's not done by just pushing a note or a chord," Moroder said.

Although fans are offered a sneak peek at the various artists that are featured on each respective track, the duo has yet to release the 13 track names.

The details surrounding the long awaited album sneak through the cracks one by one. It's going to be a long, agonizing wait for May 21, but little crumbs like these will help us along the way.
