On March 29th Tyler Perry will release "Temptation: Confession of a Marriage Counselor."
The film, starring Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Williams and Lance Gross, tells the story of an ambitious married woman whom a handsome billionaire tempts. The meeting leads to betrayal, recklessness, and forever alters the course of her life.
"Temptation" has not been reviewed by critics due to a studio embargo. However based on the Perry's last directed projects most of his films have garnered 30 percent aggregate scores or less on Rotten Tomatoes.
Perry was last seen in "Alex Cross" and last directed and starred in "Good Deeds." He also directed "Madea's Witness Protection" and "Why Did I Get Married Too." In an interview with Perry, the director stated that the film is his most powerful to date.
Smollett-Bell is best known for work on Denzel Washington's "The Great Debaters," and last starred in "True Blood" and "The Mob Doctor." She has also been seen in "Friday Night Lights" and "The Defenders."
Kardashian is best known for headlining tabloids and for her realty TV shows "The Kardshians. The celebrity is currently pregnant and had already revealed what her babies name will be.
Williams last starred in "666 Park Avenue" and "Desperate Housewives." She was also seen in "Ugly Betty" and "He's Way More Famous Than You."
Gross last starred in "Steel Magnolias," and "House of Payne." He also starred in "Our Family Wedding" and "Meet the Browns." He will next be seen in "Phenom."
Lionsgate will distribute the film in 2,047 theaters and is rated PG-13 for some violence, sexuality and drug content.
