The video was taken on a cellphone camera and lasts about 10 minutes. Some students call Klein a troll, while others state she does not have a family because they all committed suicide. The video escalates to the point that Karen breaks into tears. The video lists the harassers as being Luis Recio, Wesley Helm,Brandon Teng, Joshua Slesak. No one has confirmed these to be the students however.
Klein, 68, replied that she felt bad for those students who made fun of her and according to her interview on the Today Show Thursday morning; it took a lot of "will power" to control herself. She also added that she did not want to the bullies punished, but instead hopes that their children watch the videos and hear their children's' behavior.
As of Thursday afternoon, the fundraiser on Indiegogo.com has reached $194,817. The fundraiser originally propsed a $5,000 goal, and states that its goal is to give Klein the vacation of her life. It also asserts that her yearly pay is just over $15,000 and is not nearly enough for all the "trash she is surrounded by."
