The 2013 edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, taking place now until March 17 at the Geneva Palexpo convention center in Geneva, Switzerland, offers an eye-blurring selection of revved-up makes and models from all corner of the world.

First established in 1905, the Geneva International Motor Show has long been synonymous with super-charged production cars and high-profile debuts. This year the event is expected to draw a total of about 700,000 visitors over its entire 11 days and showcase 130 premiers and 900 vehicles overall --- 10 percent of which will be "green" rides --- from the world's top auto manufacturers.

Of course, America loves Asian imports, and there area an abundance of them turning heads in the Geneva show display halls.

So, Latinos Post surveyed the list of attending Asian manufacturers, did cross-comparisons, shared notes and came up with our Five Hottest Asian Imports in Geneva:

Kia Provo Concept --- This ultra-sporty hatchback features styling lines with an attitude, a warning shot to all the Mini Coopers in the world to watch out. The concept is powered with hybrid drivetrain, a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower that spins the front wheels while a 44 hp electric motor supplies an extra boost to the back wheels when need for simulated all-wheel drive. The model also has an electric-only propulsion option at low speeds.

Toyota FT-86 Open Concept Convertible --- The Open Concept uses the same powertrain as the GT86 --- with the same horizontally-opposed, two-liter, four-cylinder engine and Toyota's D-4S direct injection technology. The rear-wheel drive has the choice of a six-speed manual or automatic drive, which Toyota says boasts the world's fastest response times of 0.2 seconds. The dimensions of the FT-86 Open Concept are also the same as with the GT86 sports coupe, keeping the compact GT86 profile with subtle but strong lines and low-riding grille.

Nissan Resonance Concept --- Nissan continues its trek through the crossover universe with this compact concept, debuted at the 2013 Detroit auto show. Market-watchers think this is test-run material for a redesigned Murano, but regardless The Resonance Concept features a panoramic glass roof, giant 22-inch wheels, a tinted translucent acrylic grille, and a blazing Flare Orange paint job. And don't forget the trendy boomerang-shaped lights. The concept employs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder wedded to with an electric motor and a continuously variable transmission, with all-wheel drive also part of the package.

Subaru Viviz Concept --- The Viviz Concept's plug-in hybrid drivetrain system features a 2.0-liter diesel engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, along with a pair of electric motors that drive the rear wheels for those times one just has to take the shortcut through the river and over the mountain. Subaru says its control systems now allow for side-to-side torque vectoring for improved handling, with more power apportioned to the rear wheels when the Viziv negotiates a corner. The concept has flashy butterfly doors that provide access to the front and rear seats, in addition to oversized 20-inch wheels and state-of-the-art lighting.

Honda Civic Tourer Concept --- Honda says this elegant concept offers a peek at the upcoming Civic Tourer production model, to be unveiled in Frankfurt this coming September. This Concept builds on the designs set by the latest Civic hatchback debuted in 2011 --- sharp, angular elements up front and a sloping roofline that rakes down in the back. With large spec wheels and the other-world-like front lighting elements, it's a fun little wagon and promised competition for Toyota Auris Touring Sports and Volkswagen Golf Variant. Yet, don't expect to see this model in U.S. showrooms anytime soon.
