Johnny Depp Moving On; He and Vanessa Paradis Called it Quits

According to Johnny Depp's publicist, the American actor/star has decided to part ways with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis.

In a statement to ABC News, publicist Robin Baum, said, "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children,"

The couple had been going out together since 1998 and have two children together but never decided to marry.

Depp and Paradis were known to live in southern France in the small town of Plan-de-la-Tour, but during the course of the previous years, speculation grew of a deteriorating relationship as both were spotted living separately in different cities.

In 2010, Paradis in an interview to Marie Claire magazine may have implied that the relationship was heading towards splitzville. According to MTV.com Paradis told Marie Claire the following:

"I could make an endless list of all the things I admire about him. We understand that, if we want our relationship to continue, we must give each other space, allow each other to go off on our own, and trust each other. Not everyone is lucky enough to be given space and trust."

Also, the Pirates of the Caribbean Star has been seen arriving without Paradis in multiple red-carpet occasions, the last being the MTV Movies Awards that took place earlier this year.   

On another note, Depp continues his centrical role in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series that will have its next installment in theaters in 2013.
