As the "Harlem Shake" craze took over, many people forgot about the other viral videos that dominated YouTube in the past year. One in particular, Psy's 'Gangnam Style," made history as the first YouTube video to break one billion views. Released in July 2012, the video now has nearly 1.4 billion views and is known worldwide. But one man can't survive off just one single, no matter its success. Even Psy knows that, which is why the Korean performer has announced his follow-up to "Gangnam Style." Finally.

Psy made his announcement via Twitter, saying:

"Allright PPL~!!! I'm Uploading the video at my @YouTube acc. It's regarding a #NewSingleInfo and #PSYdoingGangnamSHAKE!!! Plz WAIT!!"

Psy said the follow-up track could come as soon as April 13 and also posted his own version of the "Harlem Shake," which he named, naturally, "Gangnam Shake." The new track will premiere live during a YouTube broadcast concert in Seoul World Cup Stadium that will be broadcasted worldwide.

Just so we don't all die in anticipation, Psy released an entire EP of "Gangnam Style" remixes earlier this week. The EP is called, naturally, "Remix Style" and features various artists such as 2 Chainz, Tyga and Afrojack. Just in case you haven't already heard "Gangnam Style" a thousand times, there's plenty to scratch your itch on "Remix Style."

As the release of Psy's follow-up approaches, one can only wonder if he can do it again. Anticipation alone will generate millions of hits, but we'll see if it has the staying power that "Gangnam Style" did. If so, it could make Psy the most genius entertainer of our generation.
