The match between Barcelona and AC Milan is the most anticipated of the week. After AC Milan's riveting and stunning 2-0 defeat of Barcelona, many questioned if the Catalonian team was on a decline. The team responded by losing two of its next three; both losses came in crucial games against hated rival Real Madrid.

Despite stories that the team was in disarray Carles Puyol assured La Vanguardia that the team was fine. "People invent possible reasons for the defeats, but the dressing room is united. If they saw how we train, they wouldn't doubt us," said Puyol.

He added, that "We have the recipe to come back and win" and that "we need to re-apply the pressure. The most important thing about this team is the reaction when they lose the ball."

Midfielder Andres Iniesta also seems confident of his team's chances. "I would put my hand in the fire for the team, I am confident that we can do it. It was not a good result, but I am 100 percent convinced that we can turn it around," Iniesta stated during a corporate event. "We have to do well and go out as though it's a final. For us it's a final where we need to get a good result to come out alive."

Another player who has been vocal about his team's poor play is Lionel Messi who recently stated that his team's performances were "hurting" him. "We are aware we all need to give a little more. We are coming off important defeats against difficult opponents and we all need to give a bit more to change the situation," said Messi. "We know in the dressing room that the game against Milan will be key to make good on all we are talking about. We all want it - and although we know it will be difficult, it is possible. Just as they beat us at San Siro, we can do it here."
