Shakira is not the only Latin sensation preparing to go on "The Voice." This season Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin will also join the cast of the same show but in a whole different continent.

Ricky will be up against Seal, Joe Madden from Good Charlotte and Delta Goodrem in season two of "The Voice" Australia for which the blind auditions segment of the competition was already recorded early February.

During that period, the singer posted a picture of him with the other coaches on his twitter and said, "Awesome to work w u guys! Amazing vibe!"

At the end of the blind auditions, Ricky chose his final 12 contestants and also invited Aussie chart-topper Jessica Mauboy to help mentor his team. According to News.com.au he got the idea of choosing Mauboy after he saw her in the in-flight movie "The Sapphires" on his first trip to Australia.

This Sunday, the singer traveled back to the land down under and this time around he brought his two "mini-me's" with him, sons Matteo and Valentino.

Before taking off, the singer tweeted a picture of a Sesame Street activity and an Elmo bag and said, "Australia here we go! #longflight."

News.com.au noted that the filming of the second phase of the show is set to start this upcoming weekend.

"I don't believe in tough love, I believe in love, and I believe in being nurturing to new talented men and women," Ricky said at the M.A.C. Viva Glam event On Dec. 1, 2012, World AIDS Day.

In order to start with "The Voice," the Puerto Rican singer gave his last performance as El Che in Broadway's "Evita" on Jan. 26. The Huffington Post reported that besides the Australian show, this year Ricky is also developing a new series for NBC and working on a new book inspired by his 4-year-old boys.
