During the 2013 Academy Awards on Sunday, not only did actress Charlize Theron look stunning in her high fashion white gown, but she also saved someone's life!

The Hollywood star wore an elegant Christian Dior Haute Couture dress with a sweeping skirt and jewelry by Harry Winston. However, she didn't let that stop her from doing all she could to help someone in need of medical assistance. The 37-year-old "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress rushed to the aid of one the Oscar staff members who was suffering from a seizure backstage before the award show went live, reports E! News. Theron was one of the few people who was thankfully around when the man had a seizure and fell to the floor. She attempted to help him up while someone else called for a doctor.

Later on in the show, the gorgeous model didn't miss a beat when she appeared on stage to perform a dance selection with actor Channing Tatum host Seth McFalane's opening monologue..

Ironically, "The Devil's Advocate" star had one of the most dramatic nights at the Oscars and she wasn't even nominated.

Theron now joins the growing list of celebrity life savers. In April, a woman tweeted after Ryan Gosling saved her life by pushing her out of the way of a moving vehicle.  Jennifer Lawrence was also photographed when she rushed to help a teenage girl who collapsed outside her Santa Monica, Calif., apartment building last June. And in October, Jack Osbourne reportedly resuscitated a woman after she collapsed on the beach from a heart attack.
