Sony confirmed the next platform in their PlayStation line with the PlayStation 4 (PS4) today in an event from New York City.
The PS4 event, about two hours long, was streamed online live for both Sony fans and curious tech fans.
The event showcased many software companies confirming their upcoming games for the PS4 and features for the new DualShock 4 controller, but one notable aspect of the presentation was the actual PS4 console.
Throughout the entire presentation, the actual console - the next PS4 - did not debut. Not even the price.
At least fans know the PS4 is coming and set for the holiday shopping season later this year.
Fans on Twitter tweeted on PlayStation topics all day, and they were not shy with their thoughts after the presentation:
