Carrie Underwood turned heads at the Grammy awards last night with her stunning $31 million necklace. The necklace contains 381 carat of oval, pear, marquise, and round brilliant white diamonds from the 2013 collection of Johnathon Arndt, according to a press release from the Johnathon Arndt Gallery of Jewels.

"It's heavy on my soul," Underwood told E! News about wearing the necklace. "I'm afraid someone is going to tackle me and steal it...It's worth more than me."

Underwood complemented the jewels with a black strapless Roberto Cavalli gown, wavy 40s-glam locks, and a dramatic smoky eye.

"I thought sticking with something kind of classic glam would be good for me tonight," she said, according to SheKnows.

Underwood also stole the spotlight with the seemingly plain silver dress she wore during her performance of "Two Black Cadillacs." As she sang, the dress became a canvas for an animated light show of colorful butterflies, roses, and glittering stars. It sounds like something that could go horribly wrong, but somehow, it just worked.

"They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days," Underwood told reporters, according to Mashable. "I said I should take that home where we can watch movies on it...You wanna watch movies on my dress?"

Underwood won a Grammy for Best Country Solo Performance for her song "Blown Away," beating out Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, and newcomer Hunter Hayes.
