With the new Pokémon games still a lengthy eight months away, fans patiently await for the latest news and unfortunately could fall victim to believing in false Pokémon rumors.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" are set to be released in October for the Nintendo 3DS and only five new Pokémon have been confirmed. Of the five, three include the new starter Pokémon - Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, the grass, fire, and water Pokémon, respectively - and two legendary Pokémon - Xerneas and Yveltal.

With the new generation of Pokémon approaching, there will be fans creating Pokémon they would like to see featured, some believable and some looking like Digimon instead.

A pair of "Pokémon" has been making the Internet rounds, eluding it to be from a Japanese magazine for the sixth generation games. The Pokémon in question have been confirmed to be fake, despite the animation looking like a standard Pokémon drawing. According to Kotaku, which has assisted in translating the Japanese text, one Pokémon's name is translated to "diapers" and the other is "weight."

For the meanwhile, fake Pokémon animation will continue to hit the Internet between now and the worldwide October release. For some of the fake Pokémon, they will look great and may make fans wish it was real but in actuality, leave the new Pokémon to the professionals.

But one can dream about having a fanmade drawing become real.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be released in October in Australia, Europe, North America, and Japan. Pre-orders are already being accepted for up to $40.00.
