As if there wasn't enough to already do in an Elder Scrolls game, Sony PlayStation 3 owners can expect a flurry of DLC to hit their consoles over the course of February. Bethesda has finally announced the official North American release dates for Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire expansions for the PlayStation 3.

Bethesda revealed the Dragonborn will release on PSN for North American gamers on Feb. 12, followed by Dawnguard on Feb. 19, and Hearthfire on Feb. 26.

PlayStation 3 owners have been kept in the dark for quite some time, as Bethesda struggled to work around issues that have delayed the expansions' releases for months. In fact, there was even a point where Bethesda themselves believed the PlayStation 3 may never receive Dawnguard.

"We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone," said a Bethesda representative in company forums. "This is not a problem we're positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to bring you this content."

As a little token of humility, all three expansions will be 50 percent off during their first week, so if you've waited this long, there's absolutely no reason to anymore.

The dates and PSN promotion only applies to North American gamers; Bethesda still hasn't announced anything official for PlayStation 3 gamers in other territories such as Europe.

PC gamers can expected Dragonborn to release on Feb. 5 through Steam, which will be released in multiple languages including English, French, and German.

Dragonborn gives Skyrim's Dovahkiin dragon mounts, new armors, weapons, and more, and allows players to explore the region of Solstheim. Dawnguard fleshes out the story surrounding the war between vampires and humans, while Hearthfire gives gamers a more domestic pleasure - customization over their dwellings.

Which one of the three expansions are you most excited for?
