Shakira's mother revealed in a recent interview that her daughter is happy to breast feed her child Milan.
Shakira's mother Nidia Ripoli told reporters that Shakira got very emotional and teary when she took Milan in her arms and started breast feeding him. Ripoli also stated that Milan is a beautiful boy who barely cries. She also revealed that Shakira had a caesarian section and that she was doing very well. Nipoli last stated that it was too early to tell who the baby looked like.
The Colombian singer who gave birth on Jan.22 was released from the clinic on Jan. 27. Shakira recently posted on her Twitter that Milan have already given them luck. The comment was in relation to the goal that Gerard Pique scored during a game with Barcelona. The soccer player celebrated his goal by putting his thumb in his mouth as a dedication it to his new born baby.
Shakira will replace Christina Aguilera as a judge on NBC show "The Voice" and is slated to continue filming audition episodes. The show will air in the fall. Gerard Pique will continue playing for F.C. Barcelona and will play for the Spanish national team for the World Cup Qualifiers.
