"Iron Man 3" is not due for another few months, but the release of a new toy has led to tremendous speculations over potential plot spoilers.

(DISCLAIMER: Ending Spoilers Ahead)

According to Latino Review, "at the end of 'Iron Man 3,' Tony actually does go up into space to hook up with the Guardians of The Galaxy where I also hear he appears at the end of that movie as well." Speculation about whether Stark flies into space at some point in the film was debated after Funko revealed a new line of toys for the upcoming film. Among them was a figurine showing Iron Man sporting his "Deep Space Suit." (To check out the picture, click HERE.)

The speculation was furthered when star Robert Downey Jr. stated during an interview with EW, "But we can't help it - everywhere you look now in every Marvel movie there are opportunities where certain new pals of his could be useful. So they're in the atmosphere, so to speak, but I wouldn't expect to see them on the ground in [Iron Man 3]." Many publications, such as io9, suggested that he was referring to the "Guardians in the Galaxy."

Yahoo movies notes that a "Guardians of the Galaxy" film is planned as part of the second wave of "Avengers" films; the publication even suggests that "Iron Man 3" may be the launch point for that film.

"Iron Man 3" will launch on April 26, 2013.
