Pokémon fans still have nine months left before the sixth generation games are physically available but it's not stopping from companies accepting pre-orders.

As Latinos Post previously reported, retailers such as GameStop have started accepting pre-orders but now joining them is the online site Amazon.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" are available for pre-orders on Amazon for a price tag of $39.99. Despite the game coming out in October, the price is likely not to change as the site cites "Price Guarantee."

Unlike GameStop, Amazon does not have a specific release date for the game, not even a placeholder like GameStop issued.

Amazon is offering the new Pokémon games with free shipping. The phrase "FREE Super Saver Shipping" allows Amazon customers to get free shipping on orders that cost $25 and over

So far "Pokémon X" is performing better than "Pokémon Y" on Amazon's Best Sellers Rank in the video games category. So far, "X" is ranked 276 while "Y" is ranked 303. Regardless, both games are far away from the Top 100 in Video Games chart.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" are set to be released this October in Australia, Europe, Japan, and North America. It won't be the first Pokémon game released for the Nintendo 3DS however as "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity" has been out before it.
