The SAG awards will air on Jan. 27 at 8pm on TNT and TBS. The SAG awards, which are voted by actors and Academy Award members, are expected to clear up the acting races at the Oscars.

The Awards are expected to also clarify the Best Picture race and bring about a front-runner. Since the inception of the SAG awards, no film has ever won the Oscar without a SAG nomination in the Best Ensemble category.

Five films are nominated in the Best Ensemble category of which four are nominated for Best Picture at the Oscar. Among the nominees are "Les Miserables," "Lincoln," "Silver Linings Playbook," "Argo" and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel." Latinospost has predicted Silver Linings Playbook to win the award but Lincoln can easily sneak in and defeat it.

Two acting races have clear front runners: the Best Supporting Actress and Best Actor categories.

In the Best Actor race Daniel Day-Lewis ("Lincoln") is predicted to beat out, Denzel Washington ("Flight"), John Hawkes "The Sessions"), Bradely Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook") and Hugh Jackman("Les Miserables").

Meanwhile Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) is expected to take home the statue and beat out Sally Field ("Lincoln"), Helen Hunt ("The Sessions, Maggie Smith ("The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel") and Nicole Kidman ("The Paperboy").

The Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor races are up for grabs.

The Best Actress Race is a bit tricky because Jennifer Lawrence ("Silver Linings Playbook") and Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty") have both won an equal amount of awards and have split voters throughout the awards race. Marion Cotillard ("Rust and Bone"), and Helen Mirren ("Hitchcock") are not expected to win but Naomi Watts ("The Impossible") can easily pull an upset if the actors are split on the other two actresses.

The Best Supporting Actor race is a battle between Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln") and Philip Seymour Hoffman ("The Master")  as the two have also split many awards organizations. Latinospost predicts Hoffman but with Jones' film "Lincoln" garnering four nods at the SAG awards, the actors can easily go for Jones. However Robert De Niro ("Silver Linings Playbook") and Alan Arkin ("Argo") can easily steal the award if there is no consensus on the other two actors. Javier Bardem ("Skyfall") is expected to go home empty handed.
