Kim Kardashian took to Twitter yesterday to blast reports that her mother Kris Jenner abused and neglected her as a young girl.
The rumors started when Ellen Kardashian, the widow of Kim's late father Robert Kardashian, produced handwritten diaries that she claimed were written by Robert in 1989 and 1990. Ellen gave the diaries to In Touch magazine.
In the journals, Robert Kardashian describes his then-wife Kris as an abusive, irresponsible mother.
"Kris was kicking and beating her and said she was going to kill [Kim]!" one entry reads, in an excerpt provided by In Touch. "Kim was hysterical."
Other entries claimed that Kris left her young children alone for hours at a time. "She doesn't leave a number in case of emergency. She doesn't care!"
Ellen Kardashian insists the diaries are real, telling In Touch, "These are authentic handwritten journals I have shared, that my late husband Robert Kardashian so carefully wrote...at a most trying and touching time of his life. They are my personal possessions and he left them to me on his passing."
But Kim Kardashian said yesterday on Twitter that her father's widow fabricated the journals, and that the accusations of abuse are simply not true.

So my dad's ex is selling ridiculous stories again to tabloids! Do not believe it! Sad when people need $ & get desperate.
