Christopher Nolan is known for being secretive about his upcoming projects and to this point, little has been known about "Man of Steel." However, rumors have started to spread about the inclusion of two new villains in the upcoming film.

General Zod has long been confirmed, but the new villains that will make appearances are Tor-An and Den-Em. The rumor was sparked when LEGO unveiled its lineup of toys that would launch alongside the film; among them was Tor-An. Comicbook.com confirmed the rumor and even stated that Richard Cetrone would be playing the role. The publication also stated that Robert Dufresne would make an appearance as Den-Em. Both Dufresne and Cetrone worked with "Man of Steel" director Zak Snyder on his film "Sucker Punch."

In the comic books Tor-An is a member of the military guild who serves under General Zod. Dev-Em is a criminal who eventually becomes one of Zod's followers. Zod will be played by Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon and the film also includes Henry Cavill as Clark Kent (Superman), Lawrence Fishburne as Perry White , Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

The film has received a PG-13 rating and will come out in theaters on June 14, 2013.
