Lindsay Lohan tried to win back her longtime lawyer, Shawn Holley, after firing her earlier this month, but Holley says she's officially done representing the troubled actress.

Holley represented Lohan "on and off since 2009," according to Celebuzz, and defended Lohan as she faced a long list of criminal charges over the years, including driving under the influence, violating probation, jewelry theft, leaving the scene of an accident, assault, and lying to police, according to a list provided by Business Insider.

Lohan apparently fired Holley when Holley was "literally on her way to the courthouse" to negotiate a deal in Lohan's most recent case involving lying to a police officer.  The troubled actress is reported to owe Holley $300,000 in unpaid legal fees, according to the Daily Mail.

Holley has represented a long list of high-profile clients, including Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Michelle Rodriguez, and the Kardashian sisters, according to her firm's website. She has also served as a legal correspondent for the E! Network, the Today Show, and Good Morning America.

"Shawn has kept Lindsay out of jail for over five years no and she has no idea how good she has it," the Daily Mail quoted an unnamed insider as saying about Holley. "Shawn is extremely respected by judges and prosecutors and that has benefited Lindsay greatly."

Lohan's new attorney, Mark Heller, has a less than stellar reputation. Banned from practicing law in California, Heller had to find another attorney to sponsor him, according to TMZ. He chose Lindsay Berger Sacks, an L.A. socialite who was admitted to the bar in 1994 but has not practiced law in nearly 20 years.
