Today saw the first actual photograph of the LG Optimus G Pro, as well as the release of official specifications for the device. And it looks like the new flagship device for LG will come in a version with a massive 5.5-inch screen.
LG Mobile's popular smartphone, the quad-core Optimus G, will soon be getting an update to Android 4.1. The updated operating system, called Android Jelly Bean, will soon bring features such as boosted, smoother performance, a better keyboard, and Google Now features, such as voice control.
A Korean news outlet reports that LG will be releasing a new flagship phone in May 2013.
The LG Nexus 4 will be the next Google-branded smartphone and will be running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
LG announced on Tuesday its new Optimus G LTE smartphone during a media event in South Korea. The handset is slated to go on sale in South Korea next week, in Japan next month and is expected to reach the U.S. market by November.
