“Talia in the Kitchen” has been officially taken off the air by Nickelodeon. Maria Quezada, who played the titular role, took the opportunity to thank fans online.
"Here I am at Lola's! After 40 awesome episodes of #taliainthekitchen and a great journey that we shared with all of you, I couldn't ask for greater memories!” Quezada stated on Instagram, together with an image of her on set.
She added that Talia showed her and the audience to fight for their dreams regardless of the challenges and to never surrender. The show also taught people that it is acceptable to be original, so they should embrace who they really are and not change for the sake of anyone else or anything. Quezada added that she was thankful to have been part of the show, which changed her life.
She also forwarded her sentiments to the people behind “Talia in the Kitchen,” saying that she is proud to be part of the orange team.
“Talia Parra, thanks for challenging me to do things I never thought possible. Lil Miss Spice-A-lot, you definitely spiced up my life. If you ever feel scared to go after what you dream of just remember you have a piece of Talia with you in your heart wherever you go,” Quezada wrote.
JustJaredJr revealed that the show cast also reacted to the actress’s statements on the social media site. Miguel Luciano forwarded his thanks to the fans, adding that there is much more coming for all of them, so people should stay tuned.
Marika Dumancas thanked Nickelodeon TV for the experience and the amazing fans. Liam Obergfoll wrote that the end is tough but there is a new beginning that makes everything worthwhile.
Twist Magazine cited that Joshua Hoffman also thanked fans for their support and shared that he is sad that the show has been cancelled. He continued that he will miss the cast but enjoyed the entire experience.

In the meantime, Quezada is getting ready to star in “Ruta 35,” a new TV show set to launch later in 2016, Latina reported.
