Popular Android game "Clash of Clans" is having a sever issue with their API which is currently keeping the users from playing, Programmable Web reported.

On Mar. 3, they have conducted an unscheduled maintenance on their servers. Unfortunately, API issues popped out simultaneously. According to Product Reviews, the users have "demanded" for a fix on the game.

Aside from the API issue, other users have also reported that the game was not working on iPad. Other users have reported an issue which tells them "no account on this device" after logging in.

Ironically, "Clash of Clans" was working fine before the maintenance. Instead of improving the quality of the system, it has affected the entire game.

"Clash of Clans" developers announced the need for fixing the issues.

"Chief! We need to have a quick maintenance break to do some server improvements. We'll be back ASAP!" according to their Facebook page.

This is only the second maintenance after it was rolled out to the public.

The following day, they have reported a couple of fixes and changes made to the game, according to Supercell Forum:

Here is a list of the changes implemented after the maintenance:

1.       Fixed some issues with Clan XP not being correctly rewarded at the end of wars;

2.       Healer does not trigger the Skeleton Air Trap anymore (consistent behavior as with the Air Bomb and Seeking Air Mine);

3.       Teslas are no longer visible in the village thumbnail in Player Profile;

4.       "Accept" button on a player clan join request works now correctly (some players might have encountered situations where the "accept" button malfunctioned while only the "reject" worked correctly);

5.       Fixed issues writing special characters/Kaomoji into chat/clan-player names/etc;

6.       Fixed that some clans could not have been found in search due to special characters/Kaomoji being used in their name.

7.       Dragon attack fire breath visual effect fixed.

They have also covered the iOS loading problem. After the iPad users' report, Supercell, the game developer, posted on a forum saying, "The first maintenance did not fix the issue mentioned previously, we'll need to deploy a second maintenance soon! Sorry for the nuisance."

Another user also took note of the bugs during the maintenance:

- Loading Takes Much Time Then Earlier
- Game Gets Disconnected In every 7-10 minutes shows 'Client and server out of sync error'
- Low Network Symbol (WiFi Like Symbol) On screen in Every 20 seconds or so
- Requests Not Disappearing Even After Getting Filled Up Completely

Clash of Clans has been a popular game with a strong fan community around the world since its launch in 2012 for iOS and in 2013 for Android devices

Fortunately, "Clash of Clans" is working now and there are no problems as of today, according to Down Detector
