A new update for "Clash of Clans" will present several unique changes to the game, including players being allowed to leave Clan Wars.

FoodWorldNews reported that a staff member from Supercell, the developer of the hit game, provided a sneak peek on the official Supercell forum site, showing the new level 13 cannons.

Master Herald reported that players are now free to leave Clan Wars that they joined and will also get refunds and updates on troops that they donated. Clan Leaders will be given options on who they wish to be joined by during Clan Wars. Aside from gamers having the choice to opt-in or opt-out of Clan Wars, they will also get the opportunity to see decisions by other players. Gamers get to view the preview image of players in the village using their profile without having to visit.

Furthermore, the new update will let players pick between big and small wars. Bigger wars will result to gaining more Clan XP for participating players. Clan Leaders can then expect bigger rewards for actively selecting these participants. As gamers gain more experience from Clan Wars, they can level up their respective characters.

Generally, leveling up in Clan Wars can be done in three methods. Players can gain Clan XP by defeating the War Bases of enemies. Second, gamers can get large amounts of XP by winning the war. The third approach is by gaining stars during a war. The new changes encourage players to play smarter now, while the customization features add to the fun.

There is a Clan Badge Editor which will allow players to customize clans. Gamers can create a special Clan Badge using custom colors, borders, patterns and backgrounds. The badge can be enhanced by leveling up the player's clan. New special borders will be unlocked by upgrading clans. The new customization options will add more fun and personality to the game.

Based on a report by TouchArcade, the new changes will generally affect players who have already reached the higher levels of the game. NewsEveryday.com reported that the biggest change in the update is the ability to level up entire clans, instead of the traditional leveling up, which only involved individual and specialized classes such as wizards and barbarians, which constitute the clan.

The new upgrades also let players send more troops and gain more loot after successfully invading enemy territory. Obstacles will no longer block troop deployment while air traps cannot be activated by healers.
